त्रिपुरा में त्रि-स्तरीय ग्राम पंचायतों के चुनाव शनिवार को होंगे. इस दौरान कुल 6,646 सीटों में से केवल 994 सीटों पर ही मतदान होगा, क्योंकि सत्तारूढ़ बीजेपी ने पहले ही निर्विरोध 85 फीसदी सीटों पर जीत दर्ज कर ली है. त्रिपुरा राज्य चुनाव आयोग (एसईसी) के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि कुल 12 लाख 3,070 मतदाताओं में से आठ लाख 54,900 मतदाता 833 ग्राम पंचायतों के साथ ही 82 पंचायत समितियों और 79 जिला परिषद सीटों पर अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे. कुल मिलाकर आठ जिलों के अंतर्गत आने वाले 31 ब्लॉकों के 1,848 मतदान केंद्रों पर 2,327 उम्मीदवार चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं. वहीं, भारतीय जनता पार्टी (बीजेपी) के कार्यकारी राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा आज से दो दिन के हरियाणा दौरे पर होंगे. मौसम विभाग ने पूरे उत्तर भारत में आज भारी बारिश की संभावना जताई है. मुंबई में भी अगले दो दिन भारी बारिश की संभावना जताई गई है. यहां लगातार हो रही बारिश ने लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं. वहीं, वित्त मंत्रालय में वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से जीएसटी काउंसिल की बैठक होगी.
