असम में सोमवार शाम को भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए जिनकी तीव्रता 4.3 तीव्रता थी. मौसम विभाग ने बताया कि भूकंप के झटके शाम छह बजकर पांच मिनट पर आए थे. इसका केंद्र भूटान में है. विभाग ने बताया कि भूटान में भूकंप का केंद्र जमीन से 10 किलोमीटर नीचे था. पुलिस ने बताया कि अब तक किस तरह के जान-माल के नुकसान की खबर नहीं है. पिछले हफ्ते पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के कई हिस्सों में 4.8 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था, जिसका केंद्र मणिपुर के इंफाल जिले में था.
झारखंड की खूंटी जिला पुलिस ने प्रतिबंधित नक्सली संगठन भाकपा (माओवादी) के तीन सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार कर उनके पास से पिस्तौल और कारतूस बरामद किए हैं. गिरफ्तार नक्सलियों में धर्मवीर महतो उर्फ डेमका महतो, अमरजीत मुंडा उर्फ सोमा मुंडा और करण सिंह मुंडा शामिल हैं.
केंद्र सरकार ने गुजरात के कच्छ में वाणिज्यिक हवाई अड्डा विकसित करने के लिए पर्यावरण मंजूरी दे दी है. इस पर करीब 1,400 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश होगा. एक आधिकारिक दस्तावेज में यह जानकारी दी गई है.
