जापान के ओसाका में आज से शुरू हो रहे दो दिवसीय जी 20 शिखर सम्मेलन के मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी सम्मेलन से इतर अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प के साथ बैठक करेंगे. यह बैठक दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार से संबंधित मुद्दों पर केंद्रित होने की संभावना है. माना जा रहा है कि इस दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन के दौरान पीएम मोदी ट्रम्प सहित विश्व के 10 नेताओं के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठकें करेंगे. यह बैठकें सम्मेलन से हटकर होंगी. ट्रम्प के साथ पीएम मोदी की मुलाकात व्यापार और टैरिफ और रूस के साथ हथियारों के सौदे सहित भारत और अमेरिका के बीच कई असहमतियों के मद्देनजर महत्वपूर्ण है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट देश भर की अदालतों में महिला अधिवक्ताओं की सुरक्षा की मांग करने वाली एक महिला वकील की जनहित याचिका पर शुक्रवार को सुनवाई करेगा.
