हिमाचल प्रदेश के चंबा जिले में सोमवार दोपहर एक घंटे के अंदर तीन बार भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गये. चंबा की पुलिस अधीक्षक मोनिका भुटुंगुरु ने बताया कि तत्काल जान माल की क्षति की कोई सूचना नहीं है. शिमला मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के निदेशक मनमोहन सिंह ने बताया कि भूकंप दोपहर 12 बजकर 10 मिनट से 12 बजकर 57 मिनट के बीच आया था, जिसका केंद्र हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू कश्मीर सीमा पर उत्तर-पूर्व में जमीन से पांच किलोमीटर की गहराई में स्थित था.
