कर्नाटक में संकट में घिरी जद (एस) और कांग्रेस की गठबंधन सरकार की हालत सोमवार को तब और ज्यादा खराब हो गई, जब निर्दलीय विधायक और लघु उद्योग मंत्री एच. नागेश और केपीजेपी के एकमात्र विधायक और सरकार में मंत्री आर. शंकर ने मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देकर 13 महीने पुरानी गठबंधन सरकार से अपना समर्थन वापस ले लिया. उधर सरकार बचाने के लिए जद (एस) और कांग्रेस ने बागियों को मंत्री पद की पेशकश की है जिसे कथित तौर पर उन्होंने ठुकरा दिया है. अब सभी नजरें विधानसभा अध्यक्ष केआर रमेश पर टिकी हैं. वह मंगलवार को कांग्रेस के 10 और जद (एस) के तीन विधायकों के इस्तीफे पर फैसला लेंगे. राज्य में राजनीतिक संकट के मद्देनजर अमेरिका दौरा बीच में छोड़कर स्वदेश लौटे जद (एस) और कांग्रेस गठबंधन सरकार के मुख्यमंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने सभी मंत्रियों के इस्तीफे करवाकर सरकार बचाने का आखिरी दांव चला है. उन्होंने मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि सरकार को कोई खतरा नहीं है और संकट का हल निकाल लिया जाएगा.
