Coronavirus India latest Updates: स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय (Home Ministry) की ओर से जारी ताजा आंकड़ों के मुताबिक भारत में कोरोनावायरस संक्रमितों की संख्या 21 हजार 700 हो गई है. पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 1229 नए मामले सामने आए हैं और 34 लोगों की मौत हुई है. वहीं, देश में कोरोना से अब तक 686 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है, हालांकि राहत की बात यह है कि 4325 मरीज इस बीमारी को हराने में कामयाब भी हुए हैं. बता दें कि देश में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामले को देखते हुए लॉकडाउन को 3 मई तक के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया है. हालांकि 20 अप्रैल से लॉकडाउन के दौरान उन इलाकों में कुछ छूट भी दी गई है, जहां कोरोना के मामले कम हैं. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राष्ट्र के नाम संबोधन में लॉकडाउन बढ़ाने की घोषणा की थी. बता दें कि पहले चरण का लॉकडाउन 14 अप्रैल को खत्म हो रहा था.

मुंबई में बुधवार को कोविड-19 संक्रमण के 431 नए मामले सामने आने के बाद राज्य में संक्रमित मरीजों का आंकड़ा 5,649 पर पहुंच गया. वहीं 18 लोगों की मौत हुई. राज्य में कोरोना वायरस से अब तक 269 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. अधिकारी ने बताया, '' कोविड-19 संक्रमण से मुक्त होने के बाद 67 लोगों को अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल गई है जिसके बाद स्वस्थ होने वाले लोगों की संख्या 789 तक पहुंच गई है.'' राज्य में संक्रमण के 4,591 सक्रिय मामले हैं और अब तक 90,223 नमूनों की जांच हो चुकी है. मुंबई में अब तक 3,683 मामले आए हैं और 161 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है.
विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के प्रमुख ने कहा कि उन्हें उम्मीद है कि स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी के वित्तपोषण को रोके जाने के फैसले पर अमेरिका दोबारा विचार करेगा. उन्होंने कहा कि वह अमेरिकी सांसदों द्वारा इस्तीफा मांगे जाने के बाद भी जीवन बचाने के लिए काम करते रहेंगे. डब्ल्यूएचओ के महानिदेशक ट्रेडोस अदनोम घेब्रेयसस ने कहा कि उन्हें उम्मीद है कि अमेरिका इस महामारी के बीच यह विश्वास करता है कि डब्ल्यूएचओ 'सुरक्षित रहने के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण निवेश है, न कवेल दूसरों के लिए बल्कि खुद के लिए भी.'' पिछले सप्ताह राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र की स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी को अस्थायी तौर पर वित्तपोषण रोकने की घोषणा की थी.
अमेरिका में पिछले 24 घंटे में कोरोना वायरस से 1,738 लोगों की मौत हुई. हालांकि यह इससे एक दिन पहले मारे गए लोगों की संख्या से कम है. अमेरिका के जॉन्स हॉप्किन्स विश्वविद्यालय ने यह जानकारी दी. इसके साथ ही अमेरिका में कोविड-19 से मरने वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 46,583 हो गई है. इस वैश्विक महामारी से किसी देश में मरने वाले लोगों की यह सर्वाधिक संख्या है.
