प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Modi) शनिवार को विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्धाटन करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश में वाराणसी और गाजीपुर का दौरा करेंगे. इस दौरे में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र वाराणसी में छठे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय चावल अनुसंधान संस्थान दक्षिण एशिया क्षेत्रीय केन्द्र (आईएसएआरसी) परिषद राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे. पीएम मोदी वाराणसी में दीनदयाल हस्तकला संकुल में 'एक जिला, एक उत्पाद' क्षेत्रीय सम्मेलन में हिस्सा लेंगे.एक आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया कि प्रधानमंत्री वाराणसी में राष्ट्रीय बीज अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण केंद्र (एनएसआरटीसी) के परिसर में स्थित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय चावल अनुसंधान संस्थान (आईआरआरआई) दक्षिण एशिया क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे.विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया, "यह पूर्वी भारत का पहला ऐसा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय केंद्र है और इससे क्षेत्र में चावल का उत्पादन बढ़ाने और उसे टिकाऊ बनाने में मदद मिलने की आशा है."
