हरियाणा की जींद विधानसभा के उपचुनाव के लिए सोमवार को वोट डाले जा रहे हैं. मतदान सुबह 7 बजे से लेकर शाम 5 बजे तक चलेगा. उपचुनाव की मतगणना 31 जनवरी को होगी. इस सीट पर कांग्रेस से रणदीप सुरजेवाला, बीजेपी से कृष्ण मिड्ढा, इनेलो से उमेद सिंह और जजपा से दिग्विजय चौटाला प्रमुख उम्मीदवार हैं. कुल 174 केंद्रों पर करीब डेढ़ लाख से अधिक लोग मतदान करेंगे. हरियाणा में BJP की सरकार है. ऐसे में 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले जींद सीट के उपचुनाव के नतीजे को रेफरेंडम के तौर पर भी विश्लेषक मानकर चल रहे हैं. इसके अलावा राजस्थान की रामगढ़ सीट पर भी सोमवार को ही उपचुनाव हो रहा है.
