तेलंगाना गैंगरेप-मर्डर के चारो आरोपियों का एनकाउंटर हो गया है. इन सभी को 27 नवंबर की रात एक महिला डॉक्टर के साथ रेप और मर्डर का आरोप था. 28 नवंबर को 26 साल की डॉक्टर की जली लाश मिली थी. क्राइम सीन रीक्रिएट करने के लिए चारों को पुलिस घटनास्थल ले गई थी. इनमें से एक आरोपी ने पुलिस का हथियार छीन भागने की कोशिश की. जब आरोपी भागने लगे तो पुलिस ने गोली मार जिसमें आरिफ़, शिवा, नवीन, चेन्ना नाम के आरोपियों की मौत हो गई. इस एनकाउंटर पर पीड़िता के पिता ने कहा है कि अब उनकी बेटी की आत्मा को जरूर शांति मिली होगी. पीड़िता की बहन ने कहा है कि मैं ख़ुश हूं, अब ये उदाहरण बनेगा.

राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (NHRC) ने हैदराबाद में रेप के आरोपी 4 लोगों की शुक्रवार सुबह किये गए एनकांउटर की घटना पर स्वत: संज्ञान लिया है. न्यूज एजेंसी ANI के अनुसार एनएचआरसी (NHRC) ने अपने महानिदेशक (Investigation) को आदेश दिया है कि एसएसपी (SSP) की अध्यक्षता में इस मामले की फैक्ट फाइंडिग के लिए तुरंत एक टीम घटना स्थल पर भेजा जाए और जल्द से जल्द इस मामले पर अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपे.
