Abhinandan Varthaman: भारतीय वायुसेना (IAF) के विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्धमान (Abhinandan Varthaman) वतन वापस लौट आए. पाकिस्तान के लड़ाकू विमान एफ-16 (F 16) को मार गिराने के बाद वह पाकिस्तान (Pakistan) के कब्जे में थे. पाकिस्तान ने वाघा बॉर्डर (Wagah Border) परअभिनंदन वर्धमान (Abhinandan) को भारत को सौंप दिया. विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन के स्वागत में अटारी बॉर्डर पर हजारों लोग ढोल-नगाड़े, पोस्टर और हार-फूल लेकर पहुंचे हुए थे. बता दें कि भारतीय सीमा में घुसे पाकिस्तानी विमानों का पीछा करते हुए अभिनंदन वर्धमान अपने मिग-21 विमान से एलओसी के पार चले गए थे. इसी दौरान उनका विमान क्रैश हो गया था. जिसके बाद से ही वह पाक सेना की गिरफ्त में थे.

It must be understood that #Pakistan has not done us a favor by returning #WingCommanderAbhinandan. Under the #GenevaConvention, a serving soldier captured during conflict has to be returned.
