जम्मू कश्मीर के पुलवामा में सीआरपीएफ के काफिले पर हुए जघन्य आतंकी हमले में 40 से ज्यादा जवान शहीद हो गए. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पुलवामा हमले में 40 से अधिक जवानों की शहादत के बाद शुक्रवार को राष्ट्र को संबोधित किया. उन्होंने कहा कि हमले के बाद जो देश की अपेक्षाएं हैं, कुछ कर गुजरने की भावनाएं हैं, वो भी स्वाभाविक हैं. हमारे सुरक्षा बलों को पूर्ण स्वतंत्रता दे दी गई है. हमें अपने सैनिकों के शौर्य पर उनकी बहादुरी पर पूरा भरोसा है. मुझे पूरा भरोसा है कि देश भक्ति के रंग में रंगे लोग, सही जानकारियां भी हमारी एजेंसियों तक पहुंचाएंगे. साथ ही आतंक के लिए हमारी लड़ाई और तेज हो सके. मैं आतंकी संगठनों को और उनके सरपरस्तों को कहना चाहता हूं कि वे बहुत बड़ी गलती कर चुके हैं. बहुत बड़ी कीमत उनको चुकानी पड़ेगी. मैं देश को भरोसा देता हूं, हमले के पीछे जो ताकतें हैं, इस हमले के बीच जो भी गुनहगार हैं, उन्हें उनके किए की सजा अवश्य मिलेगी. उधर भारत की पहली सेमी हाईस्पीड ट्रेन वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस या ट्रेन 18 को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी हरी झंडी दिखाई. यह ट्रेन दिल्ली से वाराणसी के बीच चलेगी. वहीं भारत दौरे पर आ रही ऑस्ट्रेलिया टीम के खिलाफ वनडे और टी-30 सीरीज के लिए भारतीय टीम का ऐलान हो गया है. टी-20 में उमेश यादव की वापसी हुई है जबकि मयंक मारकंडे नया चेहरा हैं.
