दक्षिण भारत की यात्रा पर गए राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद शनिवार को तिरुमला पहुंचेंगे. अपने दो दिन के तिरुमाला प्रवास के दौरान वे रविवार की सुबह वे प्रसिद्ध पर्वतीय मंदिर में भगवान वेंकटेश्वर की पूजा-अर्चना करेंगे. दक्षिण की यात्रा के दौरान राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने तमिलनाडु के कांचीपुरम में वरदराज पेरुमल मंदिर में भगवान अथि वरदर के दर्शन किए. वे चेन्नई से कांचीपुरम पहुंचे. शनिवार की शाम को वे तिरुपति के लिए रवाना होंगे और कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच सड़क-मार्ग से तिरुमला पहुंचेंगे. वहां रात्रि में विश्राम के बाद रविवार की सुबह वे भगवान वेंकटेश्वर की पूजा करेंगे. बाद में राष्ट्रपति श्रीहरिकोटा के लिए रवाना होंगे जहां वे भारत के चंद्र अभियान ‘चंद्रयान 2' के प्रक्षेपण के साक्षी बनेंगे. मुंबई के डब्बावाले दो दिन अवकाश पर रहेंगे. वे अषाढ़ी अष्टमी पर पंढरपुर में आयोजित होने वाले धार्मिक उत्सव में भाग लेंगे. मुंबई डब्बावाला एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष सुभाष तलेकर ने कहा है कि इन दो दिनों के दौरान 12 और 13 जुलाई को टिफिन सेवा बंद रहेगी.
