आज लोकसभा चुनाव प्रचार का आख़िरी दिन है. शाम को 5 बजे प्रचार ख़त्म हो जाएगा.19 मई को 7 राज्यों और 1 केंद्र शाषित प्रदेश की 59 सीटों पर वोटिंग होंगी. चुनाव के नतीजे 23 मई को आएंगे. वहीं बंगाल में अब चुनाव प्रचार एक दिन पहले ही थम गया है. लेकिन आखिरी दिन भी एक-दूसरे पर हमले जारी रहे. ईश्वर चंद्र विद्यासागर की मूर्ति टूटने की ज़िम्मेदारी बीजेपी टीएमसी पर डाल रही है तो वहीं टीएमसी का आरोप बीजेपी पर है. प्रधानमंत्री ने जहां विद्यासागर की बड़ी मूर्ति बनाने का वादा किया तो वहीं ममता ने कहा कि 200 साल पुरानी विरासत कहां से लौटाएंगे? दूसरी ओर महात्मा गांधी की हत्या के दोषी नाथूराम गोडसे को देशभक्त बताने पर विवाद के बाद प्रज्ञा ठाकुर ने माफ़ी मांग ली है. चुनाव आयोग ने मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी से पूरे मामले की रिपोर्ट मांगी है.
