पश्चिम बंगाल में लोकसभा की उन नौ सीटों के लिए गुरुवार को रात 10 बजे ही प्रचार समाप्त हो गया, जहां अंतिम चरण में रविवार को चुनाव होने हैं. देश में यह पहली बार हो रहा है, जब तय समय से 20 घंटे पहले चुनाव प्रचार खत्म कर दिया गया हो और ऐसा चुनाव आयोग के आदेश से हुआ है. इसके अलावा पश्चिम बंगाल के IPS अधिकारी राजीव कुमार को गिरफ्तारी से संरक्षण हटा दिया गया है, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपील करने के लिए उन्हें सात दिन का संरक्षण प्रदान किया है. उधर, BJP अध्यक्ष अमित शाह शुक्रवार को दिल्ली में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करेंगे. इसके अलावा 3 तलाक पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के बावजूद मामले सामने आ रहे है, जिन पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई होनी है. तो वहीं दिल्ली में इंडिया हैबिटेट सेंटर के 14वें हैबिटैट फिल्म फेस्टिवल संस्करण के सिनेमाई सफर अश्विन कुमार की हाल ही में रिलीज फिल्म 'नो फादर इन कश्मीर' से आज से शुरू होगा. फेस्टिवल में 19 भारतीय भाषाओं की 42 फीचर फिल्में प्रस्तुत होंगी, जिनमें डॉक्युमेंट्री, शॉर्ट्स और स्टूडेंट फिल्में शामिल हैं.
