नरेंद्र मोदी (Narendra Modi) ने गुरुवार को ऐतिहासिक जीत के बाद लगातार दूसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. 57 मंत्रियों ने भी उनके साथ ही शपथ ली. शुक्रवार को इस नई कैबिनेट की पहली मीटिंग हुई. इस मीटिंग में पहले संसदीय संत्र की तारीख पर भी फैसला हुआ. नई सरकार के गठन के बाद संसद का पहला सत्र 17 जून से लेकर 26 जुलाई तक चलेगा. 19 जून को नई लोकसभा के स्पीकर का चुनाव होगा. वहीं अमित शाह के मंत्री बनाए जाने के बाद इस बात की चर्चा है कि अब बीजेपी अध्यक्ष कौन बनेगा. मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक जेपी नड्डा और भूपेंद्र यादव अध्यक्ष पद की रेस में सबसे आगे हैं. शुक्रवार को नए मंत्रियों के बीच विभागों का बंटवारा भी हो गया. अमित शाह गृह मंत्री बनाए गए हैं जबकि राजनाथ सिंह को रक्षा मंत्रालय की कमान दी गई है. उधर वर्ल्ड कप 2019 के दूसरे मुकाबले में वेस्टइंडीज ने पाकिस्तान को बड़ी ही आसानी से हरा दिया.
