Asian Games 2023 Tennis: रामकुमार रामनाथन और साकेत माइनेनी ने एशियाई खेलों में टेनिस पुरूष युगल स्पर्धा में रजत पदक जीता. भारतीय जोड़ी को फाइनल में चीनी ताइपै के सू यु सियू और जैसन जुंग ने फाइनल में सीधे सेटों में हराया. गैर वरीय चीनी ताइपै टीम के दोनों सदस्य सू (182) और जुंग (231) की एकल रैंकिंग बेहतर थी जो उनके खेल में भी नजर आया. उन्होंने दूसरी वरीयता प्राप्त भारतीय जोड़ी को 6 . 4, 6 . 4 से हराया. रामकुमार का एशियाई खेलों में यह पहला और माइनेनी का तीसरा पदक है. वह 2014 इंचियोन खेलों में सतनाम सिंह के साथ पुरूष युगल रजत और सानिया मिर्जा के साथ मिश्रित युगल स्वर्ण जीत चुके हैं.

टेनिस में इस बार भारत का यह पहला पदक है. जकार्ता में 2018 में भारत ने तीन पदक जीते थे. रोहन बोपन्ना और रूतुजा भोसले भी मिश्रित युगल सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच गए हैं जिससे उनका पदक पक्का हो गया है.
