Asian Games 2023, 3 October: चीन के हांगझाऊ में जारी Asian Games में खेलों के लिहाज से मंगलवार को खेलों का 10वां दिन भारत के लिए बहुत ही मंगलदायक रहा. खासकर एथेलिटक्स में भारतीय एथलीटों ने दुनिया को दिखाया कि अब इस खेल में वह एक दुनिया के नक्शे पर उभरती हुई ताकत है. मंगलवार को पारुल चौधरी ने पांच हजार मीटर रेस में स्वर्ण पदक जीता, तो अनु रानी ने जेवलिन थ्रो में स्वर्ण पदक दिलाया. इनके अलाा डेक्थलॉन में तेजस्विन शंकर और आठ सौ मीटर में मोहम्मद अफसल ने अपने-अपने वर्ग में रजत पदक पर कब्जा किया.
लवलिना बोर्गोहेन ने महिलाओं के 75 किग्रा फाइनल में प्रवेश करके भारत के लिए कम से कम रजत पदक पक्का कर लिया है, जबकि प्रीति महिलाओं के 54 किग्रा में कांस्य पदक के साथ हार गईं. भारतीय तीरंदाजों ने मंगलवार को एशियाई खेल 2023 में देश के लिए स्वर्णिम दिन की शुरुआत की और कंपाउंड स्पर्धाओं में कम से कम तीन पदक पक्के किए. ओजस प्रवीण और अभिषेक वर्मा ने पुरुष कंपाउंड व्यक्तिगत स्पर्धा में फाइनल में जगह बना ली है. क्रिकेट में टीम इंडिया नेपाल के खिलाफ सीधे क्वार्टरफाइनल में नेपाल के खिलाफ 23 रन से क्वार्टर फाइनल मुकाबला जीतकर सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच गया है. वहीं, एथलेटिक्स में बहुत ही अच्छी खबर आई. तेजस्विनी शंकर ने डेक्थलॉन और मोहम्मद अफसल ने आठ सौ मी. में भारत के लिए रजत पदक जीता, तो विथ्या रामराज ने चार सौ मीटर. हर्डल रेस में कांस्य पदक जीता. एथलेटिक्स में ही प्रवीण चित्रवेल ने तिहरी कूद में भारत को कांस्य पदक दिला दिया. मंगलवार को दसवें दिन की समाप्ति के बाद भारत कुल मिलाकर 69 पदक (15 स्वर्ण, 26 रजत और 28 कांस्य) के साथ पदक तालिका में चौथी पायदान पर है
