अजीत कुमार झा NDTV के रिसर्च एडिटर हैं. अजीत झा चुनाव,राजनीति,रणनीति और राजनीतिक अर्थव्यवस्था मामलों के विशेषज्ञ हैं. उन्होंने ऑक्सफर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के ट्रीनीटी कॉलेज से दर्शन, राजनीति और अर्थव्यवस्था (पीपीई) की है. उन्होंने ट्रीनीटी कॉलेज से ही भारत में आपातकाल पर एम लिट की डिग्री ली है. उन्होंने यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ कैलिफोर्निया, लॉस एंजिल्स (यूसीएलए) से पॉलिटिकल इकॉनमी में पीएचडी की है. पीएचडी के दौरान ही वो कैलिफोर्निया में 'इंडिया टुडे' के संवाददाता रहे. अजीत झा ने 'इंडियन एक्सप्रेस' ' टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया' और 'हिंदुस्तान टाइम्स' में सीनियर एडिटर के रूप में काम किया है. उन्होंने पश्चिम एशिया में 'ट्रिब्यून' के संस्थापक संपादक के रूप में काम किया है. उन्होंने 'इंडिया टुडे' और 'आउटलुक' के रिसर्च एडिटर के रूप में भी काम किया और 'ब्लिट्जइंडिया' के सीईओ और एडिटोरियल डायरेक्टर भी रहे.
