उद्धव ठाकरे (Uddhav Thackeray) ने महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) के मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ले ली है. मुंबई के शिवाजी पार्क (Shivaji Park) में आयोजित भव्य शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने शिवसेना नेता उद्धव ठाकरे को मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ दिलाई. महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) में शिवसेना-कांग्रेस-एनसीपी (Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP) की 'महा विकास अघाड़ी' के नेता के रूप में उद्धव ठाकरे ने मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. उद्धव ठाकरे के साथ-साथ एकनाथ शिंदे (शिवसेना), सुभाष देसाई (शिवसेना), जयंत पाटिल (NCP), छगन भुजबल (NCP) और बालासाहेब थोराट (कांग्रेस), नितिन राउत (कांग्रेस) ने भी शपथ ली. शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में उद्धव ठाकरे के भाई राज ठाकरे, NCP नेता सुप्रिया सुले, अजित पवार, कांग्रेस नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ, डीएमके प्रमुख एमके स्टालिन के साथ-साथ कई बड़े नेता मौजूद रहे. समारोह में मुकेश अंबानी भी नजर आए.
