The skipper of West Indies - Roston Chase says that they will bowl first. Continues that they have five seamers and there is grass on the pitch, so they will use that. Adds that in Antigua, the ball moves and they will try and make use of that. He reckons that they will try to restrict Sri Lanka to a low total and bat well later.

The Sobers-Tissera Trophy is named after Sir Garfield Sobers and Michael Tissera, two legends who defined the soul of their respective nations' cricket. Roston Chase captains a West Indies side that includes the return of wicketkeeper-batter Joshua Da Silva, the 28-year-old who amassed 996 runs across the last two first-class seasons, while the pace attack is revitalised by the return of Alzarri and Shamar Joseph.
