Kolkata Knight Riders will feel they should’ve wrapped up the game much earlier, especially after a brilliant start with the ball. Earlier in the match, KKR put up a formidable total, powered by a blazing half-century from Andre Russell. The top order laid a solid foundation, and Rinku Singh added some late fireworks to give the innings a strong finish. Except for Wanindu Hasaranga and Akash Madhwal, the rest of the Rajasthan Royals bowlers chipped in with a wicket apiece, but they ended up conceding a few too many runs in the death overs.
