The Shafali Verma masterclass - Even with Kamalini falling cheaply for 3, Shafali Verma refused to lift her foot off the accelerator as she reached her half-century and cleared the ropes at will. Joined by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who played a composed hand of 40, the duo dismantled the bowling in a massive 94-run stand. Shafali carried her bat through the innings, reaching a maiden WT20I century to finish unbeaten on 100 off just 49 balls with 9 monstrous sixes.
A blistering powerplay start - India came out with all guns blazing after opting to bat, taking the attack straight to Bangladesh from ball one. Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma tore through the bowling to post a breathtaking 72-run opening stand in just 36 deliveries. Mandhana hammered an entertaining 37 off 19 balls before being caught on the final ball of the powerplay, leaving India firmly in the driver's seat at 72/1.

Shree Charani led the attack with a career-best 4/10 in T20Is, while Shafali Verma provided the fireworks in the chase, smashing an unbeaten 40 off just 15 balls as India got home in only five overs. It was also India's biggest T20I win in terms of balls remaining, underlining the one-sided nature of the contest. The squad has a strong blend of experience and emerging talent.
